Senior Pastor of Templo Victoria

Pastor Alex Najar - Senior Pastor

Blog Post 1

Pastor Alex Najar has been pastor of Templo Victoria for twenty-six years. In 1965, he and his family arrived in Palm Springs, California to start a new life. Two years after arriving in California, Alex realized that his life was without meaning and purpose. Alex heard the Gospel for the first time in his life and shortly thereafter gave his life to Jesus Christ. Even having received a notice to be recruited in the military, Alex decided to attend Bible School because he was hungry for the word of God.

In 1968, his brother Adam Najar died in the Vietnam War, Alex than received an extension from the military army. It was during this time that the Lord confirmed his call to ministry full time. Pastor Alex received his ministerial training at Vanguard University, Costa Mesa, and his graduate work in CP Haggard School of Theology at Azusa Pacific University.

He has served the Lord faithfully for forty years and during that time he has pastored two churches. He, along with his wife Virginia and their three children, Michelle, Michael, and Adam, has pastored a church in Nyssa, Oregon before coming to "Templo Victoria." In January 2008, his wife Virginia departed with the Lord, after eight months of being sick. In September 2009, Pastor Alex married Pastor Rita Perez, whose husband left with the Lord in January 2007. Today both are carrying out the ministry of the pastorate together beginning a new stage in their lives and ministries.
